“I've visited for dinner several times but never been there for the catfish. And I can say I've sure been missing out !!!!! It's excellent. Just the right amount of seasoning in the batter too. Got green beans and greens for sides. And some fried cornbread. All very tasty. Topped that off with an RC Cola which made a meal that was hard to beat. This is a very good place to get a meal from. I also got some tomato plants for the garden. Glad I stopped in.”

“I have lived near this place for years and seen it evolve over time. This is the best iteration that I have seen it. Its so welcoming but modern at the same time. It has an excellent mix of home feel while still being very professional. The owners should be very proud of what they have done here in the middle of nowhere. I had the bacon ranch pizza for supper on Sunday and immediately wanted to go back for lunch on Monday but they are closed so Tuesday can't come fast enough. The prices are reasonable and the food is amazing. The service is top notch as well. This will become a staple in my weekly meal plan. If you're ever around Glencoe, or feel like taking a drive, this is definitely a stop you should make.”

“Went to the McDonald's by Belterra. It was very sophisticated, totally surprised me. You were greeted with a gigantic screen that gave you options to place your order. what kind of hamburger, how many you wanted, what kind of fries, the drink, everything was a touch screen and you touched the picture you wanted. I was intimidated at first but thought let me try it and it went very smooth. It was an easy system to figure out.”

“I have mixed feelings about the place. The restaurant seems cute and local. The store seems very poorly maintained. There are missing tiles on the floor, the paneling is many decades old. There is a bucket to hold the water that leaks out of the cooler in the middle of the floor. It seems like it is run by someone who is not willing to put any money back into their business. But I love the rocking chairs out front. It is what Cracker Barrel tries to emulate but never quite gets right. And the people are all super friendly”
