Another lovely evening at Bristol outdoors with delicious food, excellent drink and upbeat professional service. Consistently the finest value and dining experience in town! A local treasure!

Had a lovely time at Bristol Bar and Grille with a big group of my sorority sisters last night. The service and food were great, as always. I arrived quite late, when everyone else had received her food. Our waiter quickly took my order and brought my small spinach salad and a fresh basket of hot rolls, so I was able to eat with the group. The salad was a good size, delicious and satisfying. The waiter kept our water glasses filled unobtrusively without interrupting conversation.

The restaurant was very busy, but never loud. I dislike when I can't hear my dinner companions because of a noisy environment. Other restaurants need to take a lesson from Bristol on deadening the noise.

The Highlands Bristol remains one of my favorite places in Louisville. My husband and I love meals in their quiet courtyard--a treat on busy Bardstown Road. One of our sons even proposed to his wife out there when we took them to dinner there!

I'd give six stars if that were possible!

Love The Bristol. It never disappoints and I’ve eaten here since the 70s. The Highlands location is my favorite. Salads are always made with fresh ingredients and I love Harry’s dressing, a sort of cottage cheesy ranch concoction. Get it on the side. The rolls and butter are addicting, so be warned. If you’ve never had the Green Chili Wontons, they’re a great appetizer. The cool guacamole that comes with adds a nice complement to them. The menu offers a varied selection at various price points and wine flights are a good way to try multiple wines with your meal. The bar menu and wine and beer offerings are quite nice. If you’re into dessert, the options are very good. You cannot go wrong with the Derby Pie, but there are other interesting items on the dessert menu, too. Service is always attentive.

I've only ever come for the brunch, so I can't comment on their lunch/dinner. The atmosphere is nice, the food is exceptional and the workers are generally friendly. Sometimes there is a wait, but it is usually not too bad and it is definitely worth it. There's parking behind the building though it's not too big of lot, so that can be a little tricky sometimes. Otherwise, the perfect brunch!

This is a very nice restaurant. We chose to be seated in their outdoor area because it was a nice evening. The service was outstanding. I use a vaporizer and when I asked if I could use my vaporizer l was told it was okay. The menu was full of great options.
