Havana Rumba Middletown

Booths are tiny, barely have room to fit in I can't imagine a larger person and what they must struggle with. Staff is pretty friendly. The drinks have way more alcohol in them than you're expecting so if you're driving home, go easy.

Loved this restaurant!! Had an amazing server, food was great, atmosphere was just welcoming. They had love music today and despite it being a gloomy day, as soon as you walked in your demeanor changed. We will definitely be back. My husband and kids loved the live music.

I've been to Rumba about 20 times. The food is phenomenal. Prices are excellent for the quality. The service is usually great. Not a fancy place, but not run down at all. They don't take reservations and be warned that on Friday and Saturday nights you might have a 2 hour wait. I have never stayed to actually time it though. They are expanding so that's good news. They have love music or bongo playing. It adds to the atmosphere, but can be extremely loud, so be warned if they bothers you.

Havana Rumba was recommended to me by a friend while I was visiting Louisville for a work conference. I love Cuban food and this by far exceeded my expectations. We ordered empanadas for appetizers and then I had some kind of really good pork dish. It was also nice that my vegetarian friend found some really great food there that wasn’t a salad. Oh and the bread and that scallion butter. I could literally just go there and eat bread and butter! Amazing. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone.
