I cannot rave enough about how much I love the best kept secret in a city known for having great local eateries.
My favorite, the meatloaf sandwich, with mashed potatoes and onion gravy, have all the comfort you'd want from "comfort food" but made with what are CLEARLY the freshest ingredients. The Brunswick stew is perfect for a chilly day, and has balanced notes of sweet and savory in every bite.
Cask has a variety of hand shaken, perfectly chilled cocktails, and a full bar if you don't like to stray too far from the beaten path. Service was top notch - maybe the only thing better than the food! The owner Ashley makes everyone feel like family.
Really nice atmosphere! The selections of cocktails are super creative and well executed! As for the food, best raw oysters I’ve had in a while and there is an option for any type of eater that will knock your socks off!!!
Everything was wonderful! Oysters on the half shell, smoked wings, blackened salmon salad, and shrimp and grits; it was all fantastic. We will definitely be back.
We went to Cask tonight and had the best experience! The food was great, our server/bartender, Erin, was great and the owner Ashley was wonderful and so appreciative of the small business support! If you get the chance, try them out! We will definitely be heading back!!!!
Tried Cask for a simple drink and dessert while in town for work and was quite intrigued and went back for dinner the next night. One of my best decisions to date. The kitchen was a little behind due to unforseen busy and we must have seen the owner at our table five times offering apologies. Nothing about my meal disappointed. The service, the drinks, dinner and dessert for the second night...........all outstanding!!!! Quit reading this review and go inside and enjoy a fantastic meal!!!
