Great location, good food!

Fantastic food, just like the original El Mundo! Very safe and smart curbside service for to go orders. Plus, great Margaritas to go! So glad to have an El Mundo in the Highlands.

This is a COVID-19 review. El Munro’s opening has been much anticipated, and then COVID-19 hit. It has been a little bit of a wait, but well worth it. I called ahead to be sure dining in was available and thankfully it was. There were signs on the doors re: masks. Everyone was masked up inside, and friendly and efficient. We had our choice of eating inside or out, but it was warm and I was as well. We were seated inside. Drink orders were taken right away. The menu is available on your phone via a QR Code at the table. Drinks were delivered and our order was taken. A Burrito Grande (ground buffalo meat) is a little unique because of the black beans and buffalo meat; and it was also outstanding. And a chicken quesadilla, also outstanding. The sour cream was drizzled on both entrees - good to look at as it was to eat. Lots of room in a large quiet dining room. A very cool AC. Service was excellent throughout the meal.

There is off street parking in the back as well as underneath the dining deck area. Easy in and easy out. Great food. Can’t wait to see more of the restaurant in future visits.
