Frisch's Big Boy

My sandwich was really good. And I like that you don't have to get the fries if you don't want them. But it my wife got the breakfast buffet and it was not good.

They've got this taco thing which is to die for. Wait time was ok. Dining area could use some updating with repairs but over all the staff was on point and friendly.

We came here pretty late almost 10pm. Wasn’t sure what to expect eating so late. It was the best Swiss Miss we’ve had in a long time and the best hottest fries maybe ever with fast, friendly service.

Waitress was pleasant enough, but had to ask for pancakes & French toast(she said it was made to order & no longer put out on buffet because it would lay out & get hard). Then had to flag down another waitress to get drinks refilled. Most food on buffet was lukewarm/room temp. For the price, everything should have been hot & fresh. BTW-chicken tenders were anything but tender. Most were little balls of hard, over cooked breading w/very little chicken(Frisch's needs to buy those from a different supplier). But, our pancakes & French toast were brought fresh to the table, so not a total loss. We noticed when the Derby crowd came in the staff started to really hustle. Too bad it took that to get the kind of service each customer should get every time.

Wonderful, friendly, quick, accurate service! I had crispy white fish with tossed salad and broccoli. Salad had homemade bleu cheese dressing that was awesome. There were several adults and 4 kiddos in our area and one waitress, (Angela B.) took care if all of us and did an amazing job! Thanks Angela!! We also had the fried pickles as an appetizer and they were delicious as well. All of our food was hot and tasty!! Would definitely recommend and will be returning to this Frisch's in the future????
