Louie's Hot Chicken & Barbecue

Me and two friends discovered this gem of a establishment a day into our vacation being from New York we all wanted the same thing Hot Chicken. We planned on comparing the hot chicken we eat but I gotta say Louie's set the bar way to high to beat. I have had hot chicken almost every day my vacation week and nothing comes close the the chicken I ate that day. Not only was the food amazing but the gentleman behind the counter who later on let us know he was a part owner was one of the best parts of the whole experience. I highly recommend Louie's to anyone traveling through Louisville and will say it's a a must stop place and you will not be disappointed.

Just got back from Louie's for what must have been the 50th time I have had some of that hot chicken. And let me tell you, if you have not tried Louie's yet you have no idea what you are missing. Food is fantastic. Host is even better. 10/10 RECOMMEND!

This place is almost certainly a front for the Mob. How else do you explain food this good at such low prices? I had a brisket sandwich, green beans, and fries. The fries were perfectly adequate, there not being much you can do to mess them up. The brisket and green beans were fricking life-changing. Insanely good, way too cheap. Definitely a front for the Mob to launder money.

Man! You must try this place! The brisket is done right! Pulled pork is savory and sweet! The Hot Chicken has multiple varieties of heat for all lovers and is really good! Not to mention the smoked wings are absolute FIRE!! All the sides are fantastic, including the Fried Corn On The Cob. GET HERE! I PROMISE YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

This place is amazing. They took 11 carryout orders for my company with no complaints. The food was hot and fresh even when I got back to my company. All the employees were kind and everything tasted amazing. We will definitely be coming back to Louie's. I would recommend them to anyone.
