The wait staff and drinks were good but you guys have got to ease up on the salt. I had to scrape the seasoning off the top of my steak so I could taste it. The mac and cheese, as well as the green beans were super salty too. We had some sides left over that we tried to eat the next day, nearly unbearable. Please teach your chef(s) that salt is a flavor enhancer, not a flavor in and of itself. A little bit goes a long way. I shouldn't have to explain this to a place that serves $200 dinners.
Went to Jeff Ruby’s tonight with some great friends for some amazing food and atmosphere... been several times this year but tonight’s server was the best! If you have Paul as a server your in for a great night! Knew the menu well and super friendly!
We always have an amazing time when eating here. Great Entertainment and incredible food.
The Robbie Bartlet Band always gets the crowd going. Its probably the best restaurant in the city. And it's not even close. The 65 day age bone in strip steak will change your life. So just go. And thank me later.
Steaks looked great if you want that. It's a steak place..they better have great steaks. Sea bass was wonderful. Green beans and asparagus were good. Mashed potatoes yuck. Bread basket was delicious!
This is the best place in Louisville to get a top quality meal. Not the cheapest place in the world but well worth it. The feeling you get while there is a feeling of home kinda like you knew everyone there. The steaks are amazing and the sides are awesome. Now on to desert. I recommend the Bourbon District as a sampling of many deserts. Overall just a great experience and I recommend it highly.
