Pina Fiesta Mexican Grill

This is a great hidden gem in Louisville. The menu is a typical mexican joint menu, but the food is 10 times better than other places around town. I ordered the Amigo Burrito, the description said a large flour tortillia, so i expected a pretty good sized burrito, but what i received was a burrito the size of a newborn baby! It was delicious and i had plenty to take home, and i am not a light eater.

I went with a couple of friends. They both had been there several times, it was my first time. I got the chicken de crema and it was very good. Great serving size for the price (9.99). The sauce had an excellent taste, but after a few minutes I had that hot bite in my mouth, took me a minute to figure out it was the sauce. It didn't bite right away. The service was good, not great, but certainly nothing to complain about. My only complaint would be that my Margarita on the rocks was not nearly as big as many of the Mexican restaurant's, but good taste on it as well.

I've been here twice now, my boyfriend really enjoys their seafood. My spinach enchiladas were extremely greasy this time. But, the first time we went it was delicious. Our waitress was also very friendly.

First time here, already looking forward to my next visit. Met up with friends who were regulars. First the salsa, guacamole and chips were delicious. Tried the veggie chimichangas but couldn't help but notice some huge, plate size burritos being delivered to a nearby table. Coming back to try that ;) looking around everyone seemed pleased with their food. Staff was friendly, portions were generous. Place filled up fast and menu offerings were beyond other local Mexican restaurants. Environment is laid back, family friendly. They had a separate bar area.
