The Fish House

LOVE THIS PLACE! I've been eating here for years and the food is always well cooked, delicious, and at a good price. I love all the options and the staff is always friendly. I took a friend their for lunch and mentioned how I was buying because they were letting me complain. Later on during our meal the guy who took our order walked over and offered us free cookies to help sweeten our day! This is one of my favorite places to eat for ALL the reasons!

Large portions, staff is TOP NOTCH, and prices are the best in town. The fact that they serve breakfast and dessert is just extra magic. Seafood is a comfort food for this northern gal, and the fish house crosses off all the boxes.

The Fish House is a "Mom and Pop" delight. I'm sure this is very popular with neighborhood locals, but I encourage visitors,like myself, to seek this place out. Unassuming, straightforward, and flat out good stuff. Owner told me they have been in business 30 plus years. I will make this a regular stop on future trips to Louisville area.

Awesome fish!! Just the right amount of breading--not too much! The chocolate chip cookies and brownies are good too. The owner is a peculiar fellow, but I think he means to be kind. I recommend and plan to revisit.

Was recommended to us as a gluten free option. My wife has Celiac and we generally test all her food when dining out. Management was very understanding and accommodating. The fish baskets we ordered were delicious, and she didn't get sick. Will definitely return next time we visit Louisville.
