Tried the Vegan carrot hot dog and crispy fries with curry ketchup dip, presentation was appealing but cheese sauce way too spicy for me and overpowered the marinated carrot. Also tried cauliflower buffalo dip and chips which was Delish! Can't wait to go back for bowling and some of their coffee cocktails.”

“My friend and I dined at Nostalgic the week they opened. We grew up together and had not seen one another in years. Nostalgic was the perfect place for our dinner! We had such a great meal and enjoyed the service and atmosphere very much. We both had the Bibb salad and petite steak. We shared Brussel sprouts and the fondant sweet potato sides- AMAZING! We left stuffed! I’ve been back with my husband and we had an equally great experience. I have another reservation with friends coming up that I very much look forward to. Definitely recommend!”

“Great dishes. Had the spring rolls and fried cauliflower which were FANTASTIC. I ordered the drunken beef. Pretty much just beef (although delicious beef) on a bed of iceberg lettuce. I thought it would be a noodle dish or something. But that's my fault for not asking. It was good but didnt feel worth the money for pretty much a steak salad. I'd definitely go back and try something else though. The fried cauliflower and spring rolls were really something special”

“Wow what a place. Great food. Live music. And a dance floor where people actually love. Great location. Believe it or not there is actually parking very often on Bardstown. Was there on a Saturday night and partook of tacos. Came in the next day and bartender extraordinaire Jeremy hooked me up with a hair of the dog. Great local stout, and fish Tacos and Brisket Tacos, courtesy of Chef Chicago. The Chef even came out and greeted me. Baxter’s places a premium on real diversity (people interact), a variety of entertainment, and personal touches. I am new to Louisville but this is one of the best places I have discovered.”

“Came here for a Derby after party and the scene was super chic. Great view of the city from the rooftop and a chance to stay warm by the outdoor fire trough on chilly nights. There are multiple bars with specialty drinks on display and decent prices. The dance floor was a bit small but with a packed club there isn't much to be disappointed about. Haven't gotten to taste the food but with the kitchen still open and serving pizza at 1:30am I was mildly impressed. Great place to stop by if you're in downtown Louisville.”

We have been to many of the “Five star” or “Michelin Star” restaurants in Louisville and Equus takes the top spot in my opinion.
