The Goose & Gander

This is right on Main St in Midway, and it gives the whole bistro vibe. The food tantalized the senses, and the wait staff were so kind. Next time you are looking for a gourmet and summer lounge spot, pick Goose and Gander.

Tried to stop at Goose & Gander on Saturday night, but the place was packed and the wait an eternity. But, the hostess was so kind and helpful that I made a mental note to try again. I did much better on Sunday—and am so pleased that I did!!! Service (Heather) was excellent. The dinners emerged from the kitchen like works of art. Even better, everyone at my table raved about their meal. I will be going back soon!

Absolutely fabulous place to eat! Our server Heather was phenomenal and took wonderful care of our group on top of having multiple other tables! The pizza was delicious I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Ask for Heather!

My husband and I love the food and service every time we go. Heather is such a great server. I always ask for her. The burgers are incredible. I give it 5 ⭐️ for overall quality rating

Overall I'd rate this experience a 3.5, but I'm rounding up to 4 because I think it could have been better. Our server, 22 Heather, was a bit inattentive and seemed more focused on talking to other staff than customers. Food was good, Brussels are really good. Cod sandwich had good flavor and the tarter sauce is good, but the fish was small; only about 60% of the bun size. Mozzarella sandwich was very good. Some menu items price didn't match the bill.
