“I live right around the corner from this Shell and its convenience, cleanliness and great customer service keeps me coming back. I don't believe a lot of the bad reviews because I've been going here for about 3 years now and have never had an issue. I believe the bad reviews are people who may have dropped in once for 5 mins and dont really know the atmosphere. The bathrooms are always clean, they keep items stocked, their food is fresh, great customer service and the lines are fast. There are 2 other gas stations here in Midway and this is my #1 choice. Their gas prices are always decent and unlike the other 2 stores whose prices are usually 10 to 15 cents higher than Lexington or surrounding counties. If they have one register open and see that the line is getting long, another employee will immediately open the other register. During lunch hour this especially helps and is better than other locations I have visited. I know the staff and very well and they are all nice. They always greet me. They are courteous and overall, this is a great and convenient store!”

“First timer from out of town visiting my family. They had heard good reviews and recommended that we give it a try. We ordered guacamole and chips for an appetizer. The guac and salsa were very good. The chips are made to order but had a slight oily taste that I thought took away from the flavor. We had the chicken and beef fajitas combination platter for our entree. The seasoning they use was really flavorful and really stood out. Added a side of street corn. Definitely would recommend.”

“The place is clean. The employees are nice. But the place is so disorganized. It took me 15 minutes longer for my food than it should because management doesn’t know how to manage people. The employees kept bouncing between stations and forgetting orders. Chaos.”

“The Ahi Tuna on appetizer menu is perfection. The sweet potato mash is amazing; I want the recipe!. The pork medallions were overcooked for my liking, but the bacon and flavor were spot on. If you like your pork well-done (as many do), definitely order-worthy. Service was excellent and drinks precisely made to order. I will return.”

“Overall I'd rate this experience a 3.5, but I'm rounding up to 4 because I think it could have been better. Our server, 22 Heather, was a bit inattentive and seemed more focused on talking to other staff than customers. Food was good, Brussels are really good. Cod sandwich had good flavor and the tarter sauce is good, but the fish was small; only about 60% of the bun size. Mozzarella sandwich was very good. Some menu items price didn't match the bill.”

“We had the hot brown and the hot brown pizza. The hot brown was something new that I have never had before. It’s sauce is good and I enjoy it to the last bite but the hot brown pizza was the real treat. It was great. Also had a very nice Kentucky mule. All in all I gave them a three star review. Not the best spot I’ve ever stopped but was worth the visit.”

“Went here for Easter brunch and it was divine!! $30pp and such a steal! What a beautiful location We ordered extra biscuits which weren't necessary as you get table biscuits and scones, everything was executed to perfection and seasoned well and they give you a giant homemade style dessert. The highlight was their whiskey list/cocktails-- we spent more money on drinks than our food ???????????? highly recommend!”
