“I came in, smelled something good and I got their sliced brisket. The owner smokes it on site. It's the best in Deridder. They have the usual convience store items, and some items on the back wall ( camping stoves) that I thought wete cool for them to sell. I'd stop by here more often, ut I don't because for me it's out of my neighborhood. I usually go to Billies too by Wlamart.I found out the same guy owns both. I support the AMERICAN owned business.”

The "gourmet" peanuts in the Kung Pao were just plain peanuts and no water chestnuts... Guess they ran out- but they over compensated with tons of huge chunks of belpepper (filler). “We enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. The staff was friendly and the food was good. Our only complaint is, of our party of five, 4 of us got our meals in about 20 minutes, we were told the other meal (crayfish) would be served in 10 minutes, but it took about 25 minutes. By the time the last meal came, the rest of us were done eating. Not a huge deal but, for future reference, let your customers know ahead of time, we would have happily waited for all our meals to come out together”

More of a home style flavor that was better than any large chain could ever manufacture. And they even serve ice cream as desert included with your meal! What!?!
