“I love this location and am incredibly impressed with the way they were able to handle the extra customers from the other locations being closed. There were at least twice as many customers coming in during the mornings and they were able to handle it like pros. The staff are always very friendly and I have seen them try to resolve issues with unsatisfied customers as professionally as possible, I would not be able to hold composure the way they do!”

“This location did well considering there was only one person taking care of everything.. the wait was a little long to take our order but then I saw looked like the mgt working alone. The food however was very good, the biscuits were to die for. Everything we had was cooked well and seasoned well. The okra was crispy but not burned and the only problem with the chicken was the peices were not mixed as they should have been for the meal deal I got. But overall the location was good and I recommend if you don't mind waiting the food is cooked well.”

“The chicken is just fantastic, When I went by there Tuesday,I used my receipt survey bought the large drink and got 2 pieces of chicken free I got the spicy and that it was. Now today I stopped by on the way to get the granddaughters wanted the surf and turf but that promo was over so I got the #7 which was the boneless wings,fries and a biscuit and now that was absolutely great and had just the right amount of heat to it and the fries were good too, but I saved most of them for the grand girls.”

“The food was delicious aside from the pita bread. It was served to us cold and it tasted somewhat stale (I imagine it is store-bought). Service was very polite and prompt. This place would be a Shreveport must-do if they could possibly make their pita bread in-house or partner with a local bakery to deliver it daily. The pita bread is such a significant part of these dishes that delicious, hot, made-the-same-day bread would make a world of difference!”

“OB&G is located on the front side of a strip mall. There are some other pretty good restaurants in that same mall. Shreveport police are holed up in or near the restaurants so Black people don't have to worry about White snatching their wallets. We can all feel safe. Okay, all jokes aside. The gumbo was excellent. The roux was about the best that I have had. Lots of seafood, mostly shrimp, but no sausage or okra. The Mesquite Grilled Oysters were great but the sauce was a little salty. I got everything else to go so I will have report on that later. Jackie was my waitress and she is top notch. The rest of the crew seemed to be pleasant, polite and professional. The place was crowded and justifiably so. I will return for more of that gumbo and whatever else I missed this time. See you there. Ciao”

“Food was good. Had brunch bowl that was very filling. Cheesy grits, two eggs, and ham. The best part, $3 drinks, (drink station for you to make your drink, oj, bloody Mary mix, pineapple juice, all the garnishes you can think of). Their lunch menu looked good too! “I've been to Superior's once before. They are expensive, but as soon as you take a bite you taste where the money went. They have the only steak I like better than the ones I cook at home. The atmosphere was great and the waitstaff were very friendly and attentive. There is a business-casual dress code which I like. It's nice to have a pleasant dinner without having to look at people's underwear. Reservations are highly recommended. You need to eat here at least once.”

Kid's for menu was great...to the point where my child saw the food and said they didn't order the food, tried it, and are all of it without a single word. Great! “Quite simply the best BBQ I've ever had! Brisket, sausage, and pork 3 meat plate with BBQ beans and slaw. The BBQ beans were just the right amount of spicy and sweet. The slaw was crunchy with a slight yet very distinct reminder of an Asian slaw while still holding onto what I feel a traditional BBQ joint slaw should be. So very tasty. I live in Florida and I promise, I'm coming back for more of this someday!”
