The Manager made a point to talk to us and made sure we were taken care of in a timely manner. The sitting areas include tables, booths, and several long benches for large parties. “Very friendly greeting before being escorted to my seat. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was great. There was a variety of salads to choose from. The hot dishes were delicious. There were two rice dishes, potatoes, ground meat, and lentils. There were other foods, but I can only recall a zucchini dish. I ate and enjoyed. Fresh naan is brought to your table. I like to dip it in the different types of chutney the have.”

“definitely worth stopping in! when we came in, the greeter- an older gentleman- was friendly and had a wonderful sense of humor about my service dog while not making a big deal of it or making things awkward. he also was really kind to the child sitting at the next table over. the staff as a whole were wonderful- the waitress was attentive and personable, and the hibachi chef was humorous and engaging. the food itself was fantastic- definitely be prepared to have tons of leftovers, cause the portions are huge! all in all, it was a wonderful supper and a good experience, and all for a reasonable price. “Great atmosphere if you like a country theme. Food was great, service was excellent, wine/alcohol selection was wide. We all had something different (from burgers to ribs to steaks) and all of us enjoyed our meals. Reservation recommended on the weekend if needing to sit outside the bar. Patio seating available and there were no bugs. On the patio they accommodated the umbrellas to block the sun as needed and as the sun moved. Overall great restaurant! We will definitely recommend to others as well as return (with reservations next time!). Thank you Silver Star Grille!”

“Was in town all weekend but only made it to Marilynn’s for Sunday brunch. Brunch was wonderful but I will make sure I’m there and plan on spending most of the day or evening. What a great place! Benights were made from flaky croissants and great! I was not disappointed with my shrimp and grits! Driving back to Dallas, I opted for coffee but the brunch drinks looked outstanding.”
