    Great Texas style BBQ and a great dining experience. The back yard atmosphere can't be beat

    The Bar B Q pork was really good. Loved the desserts too. The owner came over and talked to us, so it made it very personable. He even told us about a place in our hometown of SC we should go to. We will definitely go back.

    Trying to get home to Texas, we landed in Lake Charles while waiting for weather conditions to clear and road closures to open. We wanted some bbq and found Paul's Rib Shack online. What a great choice we made! The brisket was just about as good as Texas brisket...very impressed. The smoked mac & cheese was great. The coleslaw had a great taste. Also, I can't forget to mention their bread pudding...delicious. The staff were all so pleasant and welcoming. Thank you for a little taste of home and your kindness for these out of towner's wanting to get home!

    The people that works there while I went were so nice and helpful. The food is great especially their bread pudding for dessert. I had to bring extra to eat at home and give to my friends.
