“The food here is always good and the service is great! Today we tried the brocheta (skewers) and a cheese burger. The burger was huge and delicious and the fries were the best I’ve ever had. They were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The skews were grilled and seasoned well. Yummy!! Regular salsa is mild and flavorful but if you like Spicy ask for their habanero salsa. It’s not on the menu so you’ll have to ask for it. Great flavor with a kick. They also have a tomatillo salsa that’s good.”

“I order 2 chicken salad wraps to go. Staff very nice. I was disappointed that there was a thin layer of chicken salad on the wrap. The chicken salad had a good taste. The lettuce and tomato were fresh. There was a large amount of the wrap that had nothing on it and was folded up. For 7+ dollars it was not worth it. I am happy the cafe is here in Homer. They need to be sure the customers are getting their money’s worth. I will give it another try because I do want it to be successful.”

“As always, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience here. They keep Pacifico, my favorite Mexican beer, and always have great food and service. We are fortunate to have such a good restaurant in such a small town. The steak fajitas are always a great choice. The ribeye steaks are outstanding as well. Really everything I've had here has been very good. This staff is helpful and friendly and will keep you in chips and salsa while waiting for your entree. Your drinks will be refilled without having to flag someone down. The only improvement I would suggest would be to smooth out the parking lot in front. It's pretty rough in places.”

“Fries are always cold or burnt. If you order a southwest salad instead of the glaze that goes on it, they try to put the dressing. You always have to ask for ketchup and salt in the drive thru and they never have it at the window they have to get it from under the register. The staff is very unfriendly when you request that they correct your order prior to you leaving. I keep going back because like another reviewer stated, this is one of the very few places to eat in this town. On a positive note, when the order is correct, the food is good.”
