Perfect New Orleans experience. Incredible food, warm and friendly service, the best Bloody Mary we’ve ever had. Their story is a great one. These are folks worth getting to know. Impressive job adapting to health and safety demands of this particular period in time without sacrificing a single thing in hospitality and THAT FOOD!

I was in town visiting family and they brought me here after a red eye flight. We started off with a Bloody Mary and a Mimosa, both of which were great. But the Food..... I had a vegetable omelette that came with all the good veggies (spinach, avocado, tomatoes etc) but instead of the usual cheese had feta which made the meal. The other person in my party ordered a Benedict with shrimp and it was also out of this world. Just looking around, I felt like there was not a bad thing on the menu. We were there on a Friday morning and it was busy but we had a minimal wait for a table and the service was great. I highly recommend the Ruby Slipper over other places. It's traditional breakfast with a twist!

This is the best place in Baton Rouge to get Brunch.

My man and I moved here in August 2019 from Portland, OR for grad school and we love brunch on Sundays. We didn’t discover this place until now and we’re so disappointed in the options for good brunch in town until my friend Amanda and I found Ruby Slipper.

This place has an incredible menu for every kind of breakfast/brunch thing you might want. I’m a small plates lover and also have a sort of sweet tooth for breakfast, and this menu has it all! They have a very long menu of different eggs Benedicts, my favorite breakfast food! And yummy mimosas in many flavors! Oh and their biscuits are true, delicious southern excellence.

The wait staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and sell their specials with sparkle just by telling you what they are. The cooks come up with really creative and delicious options.

I highly recommend this place and hope you’ll love it as much as my friend Amanda and I did when we went!
