Saltgrass is a great addition to Baton Rouge with enough variety to fill in a few gaps in the local options. For myself, I particularly enjoy their country fried steak, a premium Angus option that has been difficult to find since the closing and reopening of Sammy's with a reduced menu. The dine in experience is relaxing with just the right ambiance and the staff that I've interacted with have been extremely amiable, completing the experience. I would highly recommend Saltgrass for a night out and it's an establishment I intend to revisit.

Everything was delicious but the steaks.. the steaks were on a whole other level of amazing! You know your eating a well cooked steak whenever you dont need any toppings or steak sauce and its still delicious!! Definitely eating here again!

I was very pleased with this place. Good location. Easy access on and off the highway. Good customer service. We were told it be a 30 minute wait however I think it was only 15 minutes. They gave us a buzzer and we went to the bar to get a beer and headed outside to the patio to wait for our turn to be seated. Enjoyed the view and the TV’s outside on the patio. We were seated and waited on. The appetizers were good and the T-bone steak was great. I was in the mood for a big thick juicy steak and this place delivered with that. The price was well worth it all. That being said it’s about an average price for a steakhouse but it met my expectations and then some. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be going to more of these Saltgrass Restaurants when I have a chance.
