Mansurs on the Boulevard

This was our first time eating at Mansurs on the Boulevard ( me and my friends). The atmosphere is very relaxing. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. The food was very delicious and we didn't have to wait to get anything. We definitely will be going back again.

We celebrated our anniversary and it was our first time in this restaurant, definitely a great experience; delicious food and excellent service, the atmosphere with live piano music is very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

We had a great experience for a Friday lunch at Mansurs. We ordered some cocktails; the Not Your Granny’s Manhattan was very tasty and my husband enjoyed his Old Fashioned.

We started with two orders of the charbroiled oysters, one regular and one with everything (bacon, crabmeat, jalapeños). We preferred the “plain” charbroiled; the extra toppings on the other dozen drown out the flavor of the oysters. Everything was still really good.

I had the Duck Mansur which was just ok. Nothing wrong with it, but I wouldn’t order it again. My husband had the ribeye and it was delicious. Perfectly seasoned and cooked!

We were too full for desserts but they sounded good.

Our waitress Ashley was phenomenal as well. I will definitely visit again when I’m back in town!

If you find yourself in Baton Rouge, Mansurs is the place for excellent food and service in a clubby atmosphere, we were able to walk from our hotel, which is an added bonus. Crab cakes are a great appetizer and a sharable portion. Roasted oysters with crispy French bread for dipping into the garlic butter- yum. Professional bar, attentive service. The redfish was white and buttery.

Food was magnificent. I ordered the Duck Mansur. So good. The sauce on the side is perfect. The duck is so tender and delicious. Definitely recommend that. We also ordered the crab cakes for an app. Spectacular. Friends ordered the catfish app and that was good too. I ordered the Barcelona Sunset cocktail. You cannot go wrong with that. I ordered two of them they were so good. Will definitely come back here. Nice place for lunch or a celebration. I recommend.
