“Fresh do-nuts, without the heavy grease. Fluffy, tasty flavor just the way they are meant to be enjoyed. Glaze and icing are not too sweet... just right for that 1st cup of coffee or hot tea, st the start of your day.”

“Well I tried this location again and as I was parking one of the McDonald's employees apparently was drunk talking me saying watch how I park. She then went on with her blonde wig and overweight frame to bad mouth me and tell me I'm lucky she lets me in claiming to be a manager.. I highly doubt this. However after ordering I was greeted by a very nice woman who took my order patiently and apologetically as if she knew why I was upset.”

“Customer service was excellent. Very friendly ladies and were helpful with getting my order to me quickly. The kolache are different than HTX locations based on the whole jalapeño versus being chopped/minced in the cheese. Donuts were fresh.”

“Amazing menu, yummy food, and really friendly service at a new restaurant/hotel in downtown Baton Rouge!! We stayed at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and Louisiana classics at this cute joint. Would recommend to anyone, even if not staying at the hotel!”

“We've been here more than a few times. The customer service has always been good. Occasionally they have been out of a thing or two we like to order. But it is a new store and other stores run into this problem as well and have been open longer. We just order something different. All in all I think they're doing great considering how packed it is daily. Great addition to central!!”

“Yesterday, we hosted my daughter's bridal shower here. She lives in Texas and we had friends and relatives coming from Mississippi and Lafayette as well, so this location was truly "Central" for that group of people. That's why I chose it. But let me tell you... The location may have brought me, but the venue itself and the staff will bring me back. I was able to tell ladies with small children to bring them because of the play area. The store is in a beautiful little area with plenty of parking. We were able to choose between bringing our own treats or having them cater the event. The beautiful furnishings made decorating much easier. The whole store was spotless, uncluttered, and tastefully decorated. The play area was clean and the play items were well cared for. The two ladies we worked with (whose names I didn't get 😔) were sweet and kind and cared about our experience. I was able to run a tab for all my guests to just order whatever coffee drinks they wanted and I was pleasantly surprised that it was less than a hundred dollars for all those drinks at the end. It was the perfect venue. Oh, and there was literally NO traffic since we avoided greater Baton Rouge.”

“There was no one in line ahead of me, and it took several minutes for someone to acknowledge me. There was the assumption that I had placed a mobile order. I ordered an Iced White Chocolate Mocha. The coffee is a little weak, but the flavor is good.”

“This was a fun restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised because I don't typically go to sweets shops. Everything that I purchased had a non- overbearing taste. I would definitely come back :) If you are prepared for a sugar overload then come here! It can be pretty pricey so take that into consideration though I personally think it is justified. I only knocked off one star because the staff seemed over worked. Crowds of people kept coming in and only 3 people were working the counters (only 1 of the 3 took orders while also helping in the food preparation process). Them seeming understaffed for the night led to confusion with giving people the correct orders and working fast enough to meet the demands. This is definitely not a fault of the workers and I do wish I tipped more especially because they kept pleasant attitudes in a stressful environment. This may not be their typical crowd but that was one of the only cons I noticed while dining. There was also bright white lighting in the restaurant that was harsh to eat in, so be warned if you have sensitive eyes. Edit: I went again and the milkshakes were literally just runny milk with some flavorings. Even the whipped cream was flat and we had to wait like 20-25 minutes for them. I don't think I'll go again.”

“Food and staff were great! This is one of the best places I go to for a vegan meal. The Hippie Garden sandwich is the absolute best! I had a tomato and squash soup mixed together (recommended by one of the staff)...DELICIOUS!!! Be sure to try this place out.”

“This is now my FAVORITE restaurant in Baton Rouge! App-Mighty Lite : Was AMAZING!!! App-T's Tater Skins : We’re great (Had without the bacon) Entree-Glazed Salmon : Had the Salmon cooked well, the vegetables and grits were scrumptious!!(HIGHLY RECOMMEND) Entree-Flamin Fish Tacos : very flavorful and has a slight kick to it. Very filling & fresh! Cassie our waiter was absolutely AMAZING! She explained all of the menu items and made us fell very valued and has a perfect attention to detail. Me and my Fiancé came her for my birthday dinner and it was definitely a memorable moment. Thanks to everyone that played a part….I’m looking forward to my next visit.”

“My husband went in to place the order, I remained in the car. I noticed the employees underwear showing, actually all the men working had their pants below their hips. It was actually to much intimate underwear visible to be preparing food. They need belts, aprons and head covering. Money wasted!!”

“Great atmosphere!! Live for the Cinderella lattes on the patio at City Roots. Love sitting in the courtyard to enjoy beautiful mornings. Really a pretty place, however the flower beds suddenly disappeared. Maybe they are putting in ones with more flowers. Love to see a brewery at Electric Depot.”

“Absolutely Love Louie’s… one of my favorite go-to breakfast joints. Although they moved (next door), the place feels like it has been there forever. Old school diner with bar and table seating. Service is very good and the food is great. They do need to up their game on the sausage. The potatoes are the best reason to go… go now!”

“Great location, understaffed and under utilised shop. Peach Green Tea was not made correctly and Ham & Cheese Croissant was good but nothing special. Hope this corner shop improves because it has great potential.”

“My dad and our dog drove through to grab coffees and the three employees working were so delightful, effective and enthusiastic. They quickly prepped our beverages and promptly asked if we'd like a pupuccino! Watching our dog enjoy his treat put a smile on all of our faces and our coffees were hot and delicious. We were happily surprised by the cheerful morale and very appreciative of their diligence in anti-virus precautions.”

“It was the fresh sushi and a sit down restaurant that brought me in. The market had a fancy vibe in it with the handwriting title to every section. The food looked like they were mostly organic and locally grown. The prepared food looked great. I was about to try out the potato soup but couldn’t find any cheaper option other than a $7.99 small container. Yike! I ended up not getting any because it was too expensive for a cup of soup. They seemed to have everything here. The milk was oddly hidden behind the numerous selections of wine bottles. I just bought a few items which were about the same price as Walmart and left. Anyway, my friend and I will be back to try more prepared food.”
