Hubby and I ate here a few weeks ago. It doesn't look like much, but the food was really good. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and their (I'm guessing) homemade honey mustard dressing was out of this world! Hope that we can visit again soon.
**The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the atmosphere was lacking. Spruce it up a little, nothing over the top, and it would definitely get a 5 star review.**
We had been at the levy and old Capitol building most of the morning and were tired hot and hungry. We stopped in at Downtown Seafood. We were met at the door with a sample of fried shrimp which told me we were in for a treat. Darlene ordered a burger and fries and I a shrimp Po Boy. Wow the burger was massive and really great. The Po Boy was amazing with some of the best shrimp I have had in a long time. I strongly recommend a stop here while downtown, you will not be disappointed.
The fried oyster is so good. The staffs are also so nice and friendly. She gave us free samples to try (which helped a lot in decision making).
Really worth visiting to fill your hungry tummy! ?

I loved it, The amazing staff is very friendly and services was speedy. I also give them 5 stars for cleanliness and clientele?
