Stroubes Seafood and Steaks

We went here for our 12th anniversary. We had crawfish beignets and blue crab gnocchi for starters. Both were good but the beignets were out of this world good. Next I had a blue cheese wedge and my husband had the duck and andouille gumbo. The gumbo was the best I have had in a while. Entrees were the redfish, which we suggest getting blackened for better flavor, and filet mignon with crawfish Mac and cheese. Yum! Our server was the best. Desiree was sweet, funny, and efficient. Her lovely personally made every trip to our table a pleasure. We will be back!

Went there on Wednesday night, quiet in the restaurant. No one at desk waited a few minutes finally someone showed up and seated me. Beautiful historical building. Water brought out, suggestions for dinner were made. Nice wine by the glass selection. Decided on perfectly charred Mahi Mahi with asparagus. Next time I saw waiter was offer for dessert. Excellent meal just not clicking on service, especially for a really slow night.

Fantastic meal! We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. The crawfish beignets were an amazing appetizer. I had the duck with the Gouda grits, which were so good. And the bread they bring you is incredible. The atmosphere was very classy and upscale. Great place to celebrate a special occasion.

This was an amazing meal! The bread was great, and the appetizer we had was awesome! I had the Stroubes Burger for $17, and it was insanely good! I love the look of the restaurant and our waiter was really nice. I 100% recommend this place for family dinners and special occasions.

When I go out to eat not only do I look for great food and a great atmosphere but I also look for great service and Stroubes has just that. I went in and ate at the bar and was greeted by the bartender Layla right away. I just ordered a water and asked her for her recommendations because it was my first time there. I ended up getting the Pork Porterhouse. The food came out fast, hot, fresh, and delicious. My water never at one time was empty and once I was completed with my entree I was immediately offered dessert. I took Layla's recommendation and went with the bread pudding which was phenomenal. I highly recommend if you're sitting at the bar Layla is an amazing bartender and if you're sitting in the restaurant Sidney is one of the best servers! Overall I had an amazing experience and I will definitely return!
