Extended family of six met for dinner. Brussel sprouts appetizer was excellent—citrusy with balsamic glaze. We order three pizzas which was plenty—Mr. Piggy, pepperoni and ratatouille. Crust was very similar to what I’ve had in Italy. Light but flavorful red sauce. The Caesar salad was authentic...fishy for real if you are not used to it. Very good service. I really liked this place!

Rocca was everything I wanted it to be. Awesome wood fired pizzas, appropriately portioned toppings, and YES the garlic knots. If you are familiar w Pizza Domenica/ Domenica in New Orleans, this is a similar experience and I’m so so happy there is something like this to vastly improve the BR pizza game esp when you want more than a basic pie. We had this delivered and it was still nice and warm and fresh when it arrived which can be real hit or miss w delivery food. One thing — maybe skip the salad in a delivery order, it was $8 and *maybe* 2 cups of salad (but it was good!) so not really worth the cost, haven’t dined there so don’t know if maybe it’s a better size in house. Regardless... 5* and Can’t wait to order again.

So much more than a pizza place! Everything on the menu is thoughtfully created for foodies who appreciate the details. Even a simple dish like the burrata insalata has unexpectedly bold flavors and diverse textures. The same goes for the rest of the menu, from the garlic knots--at once perfectly crispy yet still soft and doughy--to the oven-fired pizzas, with rich toppings and soft melted cheeses.

I am in love with the garlic knots with parmesan foamy dip. I think they should have shirts that say "here for the garlic knots". Seriously, i would buy one. The brussels sprouts are really good too. They are big enough that I have had them as an entree before. My favorite cocktail ever was El Milagro. It was a sort of take on margarita but with mezcal, pineapple habanero syrup and angostura bitters. It was my favorite cocktail not only there but in the world. Sadly, they discontinued it a few months ago. Well nothing can last forever I guess. RIP I will remember it fondly. I've been happy with their pizzas too, although I am happy to go for their ambiance, cocktails and appetizers. For me, one of the top 5 restaurants in Baton Rouge. Most recently I tried their roasted cauliflower with tomato dip and it was so good too! So you can definitely eat healthy there as well.

Hip and trendy pizzeria with great vigilant staff. Must get the Brussels sprouts, roasted cauliflower and garlic knots! So good! Love how this restaurant gets their ingredients from local farms.
