Amazing as always! Don’t sleep on in the burger. Best I’ve ever had.
As always, a GREAT place for a superior steak and - as a special treat - a couple of really tasty Delta-style hot tamales! Hint: split one of their giant Porterhouse steaks rather than taking several smaller steaks, and , by all means, get their home cut french fries. Oh, and get some hot drop biscuits at the end of the meal as dessert with the local honey!
The tamales were delicious! The burger, definitely not the best in Baton Rouge but it's pretty good, not even worth taking a picture of it... The fries were not the best, almost like they were old or they didn't have time to cool from being blanched. Fried shrimp were perfectly cooked but the meatball po' boy stole the show though. That is the best meatball po' boy in town! The previous winner was Anthony's down the street, and I still hold them close to my heart, but Does is better.
