Famous K & C Restaurant & Bar

The fried chicken was juicy and oh so tender. The macaroni was cheesey and highly seasoned. The loaded potato was the bomb and the shrimp was highly seasoned. The restaurant was very clean and the staff made you feel at home. I like the vibe this place gives off, a laid back and chill. Order up a nice grilled or fried poboy shrimp or fish. The red beans & rice with sausage is my other favorite. Gotta try the mac & cheese next time.

If this place is open in a month I'll be amazed. Went there for lunch during the day last week. We were the only customers at noon. Took about 1/2 hour to get the food. 4 people working there, one on phone all the time, 2 milling around, one waitress-cook working. Ordered the daily special, red beans and rice, or it should be called rice and red beans, hubby had fried shrimp dinner with red beans. Food is was eatible but very bland. Appeared to be frozen shrimp. Don't plan to go back.

The fried fish and shrimp were excellent. The stuffed potato was delicious. I have never experienced a restaurant where everything was exceptional. I would highly recommend it.

The food was very good.... the chicken was marinated to the bone with a nice kick omg so yummy! Fried fish & shrimp was very fresh & seasoned to perfection. The mac m cheese needed a little more cheese & flavor. Potato salad & fries i give a thumbs up. The atmosphere was nice and staff very friendly. Facility is clean. My family will be back.
