The caprese salad was so fresh, the balsamic reduction was wonderful. The Caesar was delicious too, little different than typical places, but we loved it. I had the steak special and can't wait to have it again. My steak was cooked perfectly, i didn't even need the knife. My fork cut through it like butter. The pasta was out of this world with mushroom flavor, def worth going back for.
Wow, wow, wow! That is what I think of Nino's. The food was absolutely delicious. Every course offered something new and amazing. I recommend that you don't modify any of the dishes; all of the flavors of each dish work so well together. I could not have any better things to say about this restaurant. The service was top tier; so extremely excellent. The bartender, Elton, made some delicious drinks, and he also had a great personality as well as great recommendations. My first time, and I'm hooked. I will 100% be back and I highly recommend you check it out too!
To my surprise, they also offer a wonderful vegetarian menu (upon request) with about 5 or 6 options. All of them sounded delicious but I went with the "lemon" choice and it was absolutely amazing! Get yourself a half salad to go along with it, and you'll be in heaven. For the meat eaters: listen to the specials; you never know what might pique your interest! Seriously, stop in and enjoy yourself!!
Without a doubt top restaurant in Baton Rouge. The chef and the staff here make sure you have an enjoyable experience. On this night all 6 of us tried appetizers, wine, cocktails, salads, soups and their steak and fish specials. All were prepared in a way that just melt in your mouth with such flavor. The place is cozy as i you are in an Italian restaurant in Siena Italy. Always impeccable!
Quiet, higher end place for Baton Rouge. Fairly small, though they weren't busy at all on a Thursday evening. My scallops tasted a little off - they smelled pretty fishy, like they weren't very fresh. Might have just been the night - I've heard rave reviews of the place. Bread before the meal was good. Service was excellent.
The best restaurant in Louisiana! Get the ribeye and pasta special which includes whatever is fresh from the local farm that week. It is the best meal I've ever had each time. Consistently delicious unique flavors
