“Hot and good! It was literally the only place open after the parade where the line wasn't around the block. Probably because it is way too expensive, but I was hungry. Really wish they didn't charge so much because I'd go more often. They're always really nice too. I did find this time that the tea tastes on the sour side. Not terrible but I have very se positive taste buds and i can tell it was either sitting out too long or they needed to clean the container. First time where I've had that though.”

“What made this visit so memorable and remarkable was the excellent customer service that we received! Our server, Ronald, was amazing! He was so nice and friendly, eager to please, and very attentive....would recommend asking for him (hope you will thank him for his former military service). Since it was not real busy at the time, we enjoyed speaking to him a few minutes. We did have good food at this IHOP; it was fairly convenient to our hotel. Some of the orders included pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, and hash browns, as well as a hamburger and French fries, and a grilled cheese.”

“The service and food is better in the day . The woman cashier/ order taker at night is rude and you can’t understand a word she says . I had to ask her 5 times to repeat the total to me . Talk about awkward! She talked way too fast and instead of stating the total in dollars and cents , she gave the numbers . Like 7, 1 , 2 instead of Seven dollars and twelve cents . It was very awkward and then I had to deal with her attitude . Yesterday same woman got my order messed up and gave me a funky attitude for going in to get my food that she forgot to give me ! I guess I’m just gonna have to forget my sandwich for dinner and just go at lunch if I want it . I don’t like doing business with rude people when I’m spending my hard earned money . Too many other places to eat with well mannered folk .”

“A really good deal. Value for money buffet in the area. Great service with friendly smiles. Not only the variety and selection are good, the quality and tastes are equally fantastic. About 10 types of sushi with great variety and they taste real good. Prawns are jumbo size! Cook to serve us a disappointment. The beef was overcooked. Need improvement in this area. Cakes in dessert section are dry cakes. Also need a bit of adjustment here. Fruit variety is great. I enjoyed the canned longan n jello. Watermelon n orange are juicy and sweet. Pineapple could be better if they are fresh ones. Plenty of crabs, crayfish and shrimp. I even managed to grab some crab legs! Truly value for money at around 15 on a Saturday dinner. Highly recommended.”

“Came in just before heading out for the airport. Quaint little restaurant that is definitely inconspicuous at first. My wife had the pork chop, red beans and rice, and collard greens. I had the catfish, Mac 'n cheese, and collard greens. Red beans had just the right amount of spice and the pork chop was rich and juicy and needed no sauce to taste great. The catfish was also great. Had a light but flavorful breading like any good fried fish should have. Portions were huge, but I willed myself to finish. The owners were right inside and very welcoming. Made you feel just like you were eating home cooked soul food. Also had a strong local presence, which is a good sign for any restaurant, especially a small one. Great people and great food. A must visit if you are looking for food on your way out of New Orleans.”

“Wow! What an amazing moment today. I was referred to do an Electrical service call by a family member through a Facebook site to do some troubleshooting at Crawfish King Restaurant in Kenner. To make a long story short, I was able to solve the problem, however, the amazing part is that Mrs Mary Augustine (owner) has a beautiful spirit. She was so thankful for the work I did for her, she gave me tip, a big bag of crawfish with sausage/potatoes, and an opportunity for more work at her restaurant. This was really a blessing, and I honestly recommend this restaurant, not only because of what she gave, but because she is a person who honors the Lord our God. Many blessings to this business, and to all her family. I thank you for giving my small business an opportunity to shine and to be of service to the community I love so much. “Great little restaurant recommendations by a friend. Wide variety of foods are available. Friendly staff are available to take you order and accept for payment and get you out the door. Good that the food is visible for you to see without obscurity. And so it the kitchen. The line moves swiftly, so don't be discouraged when you enter and there's a line; in no time you'll be out of there. Parking is off street, but it's limited. Plenty of tables if you decide to dine in. But make sure to clean up behind yourself as there's no wait staff. Beverages are sold separately from the food and with a large selection, I'm sure you'll find something that pleases your palatte.”

“Please disregard the previous bad reviews, about it not being clean and having rude staff. Me and my mother ate at this restaurant tonight (shared this Mexican type of hamburger, with steak, lettuce, tomato, and avocado on it), and really enjoyed it. The restaurant looked very clean, and our waitress was very friendly. The only reason that I only give it 4 stars is because I did not like the atmosphere. It is too bright in the place, and I felt like I was eating in a brightly lit school cafeteria (if you know what I mean). I much more like a darker, nice atmosphere, with privacy. Too bright, and the square tables out in the open. Also, they could not offer us a free cup of tap water, and my mother wanted a beer, and they did not gave beer, because they do not have a liquor license. I just felt bad for taking my mother here, because they could not serve her a beer, that she was really craving. Anyways, other then that, the food was okay, and the server was nice. I really enjoyed the food, but I do not think I would go back, due to the atmosphere, unless I were taking the food to go.”

“I really enjoyed the Italian pie food tonight that I've been eating for years. I had not been here for a while until some friends wanted to come. I got the grilled chicken salad with bread.
