I had a problem with my decorator delivering what was promised and Royal Palm came through in a pinch. My guest were blown away with the elegance of this place. My husband had Mandarin Chicken he said it was all right but he compares everything to China Doll. The staff was polite and attentive. “I grew up on this place and was excited to see that they opened a location on the West Bank when I was in the neighborhood. The shrimp and hot sausage poboys did not disappoint and were both exactly what I remembered. Still some of the best poboys in the city if you’re not looking for the frills and atmosphere of the tourist joints. Everyone was friendly and the bread and ingredients were all fresh and delicious. A great option for a little picnic in the park or to bring home for some Friday night takeout.”

“I’ve been driving by Big Poppa’s for quite some time and finally decided to stop by for a late lunch and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the Big Poppa Buger and Sweet Potato Fries. The burger was definitely home made and was perfectly made with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and bacon. The Sweet Potato Fries were sprinkled with a cinnamon sugar and brilliantly served with a cream cheese dip. The server who took my order was also amazing and continued to check on me through my meal. I will definitely be going back!”
