“Carreta's is a great place to eat lunch or catch an afternoon drink. Their lunch menu has a lot of choices and has a really good selection. I got the taco salad with mushrooms. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly. The salad had a great taste. The chip and salsa were good as always. The staff was super nice and warm. They always had a refill ready and it's always nice to be asked if I want a drink to go. Thanks for making my lunch break a little better.”

“This was my first time ordering from Vieux Carre' Pizza. I ordered delivery and it was delivered in a reasonable amount time. It was piping hot when it arrived (yay). I chose the Supreme Pizza because the business photo looked really good. Well, my pizza didn’t look the same. The toppings were plenty in the center, but started thinning out about two-thirds of the way towards the edge of the crust. I ended up throwing a lot of the crust away. The toppings had really good flavor and the crust was good (semi sweet). I was impressed with the overall taste. I ended up having leftovers for the next day and that’s when things went downhill. The banging flavor was no longer there. Also, the cheese turned into a creamy consistency...it was weird. From a price perspective, I think the pizzas are a bit pricey for what you get. With a discount, I paid almost $15 for a medium. I would definitely order again, but will only order enough for one meal (given the change in taste on day 2).”

“4 stars for it's type of place. Breakfast place locals go to. I always return on every trip and get their grits :-). Father got French toast today. Smelled very good. Nice that they customize their meals. For example, if you ask for crispy bacon, that is the way it comes. Can't say that about other places we had breakfast at. Friendly place with lots of regulars who chat with each other and the wait staff. Half eaten food pictures (Sorry we were hungry!)”

“I usually really enjoy eating at Reginelli's. I've been to several locations. However, the service was slow and the food want the greatest. It took out server a while to get to us, and she wasn't very attentive. We both ordered shrimp dishes, one pizza and one pasta, but unfortunately none of the shrimp were deveined. They were large and seasoned well but they looked like they had a good last meal. The pasta needed more sauce as well. The flavor was good, but the dirty shrimp was a turn-off.”

“The Popeyes in Elmwood has consistently great food. However, prepare to wait for your food. I have spent 45 minutes in line before. I went yesterday, because I saw there were only 3 cars in line. It still took 20 minutes from the time I got in line to the time I got my food. You have to get in the car line, even if you order ahead so there is no getting around the wait.”

“I’ve never had a bad experience here. The staff always provide good service and go above and beyond in my opinion. The new location is smaller than the first, but it’s so much cuter. On my recent visit, I ordered the turkey cranberry melt and a side of tomato basil soup. I really loved the soup. The sandwich was okay, but could have used a tab more flavor. I did appreciate the fact that the turkey meat was of good quality.”

If I’m paying the same price for the tacos as the burritos and burrito bowls, then I should be able to get an equivalent amount of meat. I always have to ask “Can you put some more meat on that please?” There’s no excuse for that.”

“This place is seriously overpriced. Don’t get me wrong, they have a decent tasting burger. I just don’t feel my double bacon cheeseburger should have carried a price tag of almost $9...and that’s without fries or a drink. I ordered the Cajun fries and was underwhelmed. They were Cajun, but they could have used some salt as well. Also, they should rethink putting the piping hot fries straight in the cups after pulling them from the grease. By the time I got midways to my cup, the fries were sweaty/soggy and undesirable. I do appreciate the fact that food is cooked to order and you get it hot. Maybe I’ll give them another chance, but will be sure to pour the fries out of the cup as soon as I get them.”
