“If you have an Okra craving, you will enjoy the okra stew! I wish there was MORE of it served. Actually when I return, I will ask if I can have the okra w/o the meat. I had no idea the okra dish would have been a "Lebanese" type of meal, but I was certainly delighted to see it listed! The okra stew is really good the way it is prepared: it is "light" and very flavorful. The ambiance of the place is nice, too--very calm; a relaxing spot to dine at. Yummy, yummy grilled veggies!!!!!! My boyfriend enjoyed his kabobs and was FULL after he finished his meal. It was a win:win; good food and good service. Fresh flowers were on the table, too. Luckily I got to see my favorite flowers in the small arrangement: Carnations. Mr. Matthew was very nice and engaging. Our waiter Josh was sweet, too!”

“The food was pretty good, but the service was a little sketchy. The staff member greeted my husband and myself with a grimacing face. He also had a lip ring and was holding his ribs as if in pain. So I commented an was told he had broken ribs. Why do you want to come to work and make me feel like you don't want to be there servicing me, when you really don't feel like it? We had let him know we wanted the order to go and he tossed one meal on the counter in an open tray. Had to remind him it was to go. Just made for an unpleasant visit.”

“So I’d heard great things about this place but as I’m really bad with spicy food, I (INCORRECTLY!) assumes the food would be too hot for me. Luckily my foodie husband was dying to try them and convinced me to take the plunge. We raced over and made it right before close for lunch (thanks to great staff for putting up with us!) to place an order to go. Just to say - I am a convert! “What a great place! We were in Lafayette for a wedding and wanted to find something local for breakfast. The reviews are true! What a great family feel and the food was not only amazing, but very inexpensive! The people in the booth next to us had been coming there for 13 years and welcomed us with great hospitality. The owner came over and sat in our booth and acted as if he had known us for years. We loved the experience and will definitely be back if we are in the area again!”
