“I wandered into this place starving after a crueling 4 1/2 hours of work. I've been wondering what to eat and I realized that the new location of jersey mike's was across the street. I walked over there curious of how this location would be like (I tried the one on the johnston already). I walked in and the atmosphere was glorious. One of the people at the counter welcomed me, he was a cool and chill guy. I place order, the usual a big kahuna no mushrooms, with a pepsi, chipotle mayo, and potato chips. I patiently waited for them to make my food then it happen. They came out with my sandwich, little did I know greatness was stepping towards me. When I unwrapped paper on the sandwich my eyes were blessed with an excellent view of the cheese pulling of the paper. I cried in that moment realizing I was looking upon a sandwich kissed by heavens. I went in for the first bite, and I that was entered my own realm where it was just me and the sandwich. This exceeded my expectations despite me already having this sandwich before. Then I dipped into the chipotle mayo, and I took a bite, it was like I just ascended to be one with the gods. Words can't describe how that sandwich effected me. Once I finished the sandwich I got up and returned work. And I was very satisfied.”

“We decided to come in for our first time to see what this place was about, and sadly, it was not that great. The person who initially took our order was rude, disrespectful, and did not explain the process of the preparation like she did for those before and after us. She looked angry, and it seemed like she didn't want to service us. We even asked multiple times to split the check, and she either ignored us or didn't want to, so she kept rubbing us the wrong way. Next up, the selection of dressings was very minimal and disappointing. The menu did offer a variety of different sandwiches, which is good. The pricing was decent for the food ordered, and the atmosphere was clean, but not upbeat, as all the employees seemed aggravated and didn't want to be there. The food tasted great, which is the sole reason for the higher score. Otherwise, it would have been a two star rating. I don't know what each of those employees there are going through, so I won't bash on them, I always say there aren't bad employees, just bad leadership. To the managers, I say lead your employees better and groom them for success. Wrapping up now, I'm not sure if we will be returning anytime soon, sadly. I say food-wise, I recommend them, service-wise, I don't, so please do better.”

“OMG!!! I must say...I'm originally from Lafayette, La and lived in Houston, TX for 6 years. Between these two cities, and all the places I've eaten BBQ...this by far the best. This BBQ is so good, and the owners are so awesome...I made them honorary family members!!! I'm a leg quarters man, but my friends have told me time and time again..the brisket is amazing as well. Although she sometimes has difficulties finding employees with the same level of professionalism she does everything possible to make the dining experience delicious and pleasurable. I usually get a small burger and a small fry and they give u such a generous helping of fries that you probably can't eat them all in one sitting.
