“Our visit on 12-19-2019 Food tasted decent, our waitresses were scattered and I mean more than one because neither one of them knew which one was taken care of us nor did we. After placing an order there were multiple plates that came to our table all at once and were almost placed and I said these are not our plates, they ended up being the table next to us. With the exception of one of those plates was my wife’s shrimp tempura roll which was rather small, see picture. Shortly after my wife received her plate, I was asked if I wanted a different sushi role that they accidentally made,... not sure, kind of had my heart set on what I wanted and I was not sure if they were offering it discounted or free since they messed up the order??? Since there was no clarification, I decided to stick with what I originally ordered. After a good 10 to 15 minutes later while the waitresses and cooks were laughing and having a good time?, I then ended up with my original order. We also noticed that we could have ordered it a different way and not only got a salad each but it would’ve been slightly less $ and when the waitress came to give us the bill, no apologies for the mess up, I showed her on the menu how this could’ve went differently but she didn’t really care. Bathroom floor was sticky, The rest of the restaurant appeared to be clean. There was another sushi restaurant just across the Bayou that I will try next when I am in the area.”

“I’m not sure why there is actually two locations for the same place...?, So I will leave the same review for both places. We had the lunch roll combo which was very tasty, prompt, Quality wasabi and ginger etc. and the price as you can see in my pictures, made it decently priced for 2 rolls and a salad or soup. The waitress that first took our order was a bit on the cold side so A waiter finished with the rest of our meal and he was very prompt and courteous, hovered just a little bit though, not bad. Things seem clean and with a very exciting, authentic atmosphere especially in comparison to another sushi joint just down the road. We have been very skeptical going out to eat anywhere with the flu going rampant so I was very aware of our surroundings when we entered and found no one to be coughing, especially on all of that fresh raw food. We would return, it was very satisfying.”

“I have ate fried shrimp platters all over the Gulf Coast, but this shrimp is really outstanding! We are from Shreveport and I would be willing to drive the distance once a month or as often as I could. They were plump, cooked just right in a seasoned flour coating and fresh as ever! Great side orders too. Had the coleslaw and steamed vegetables. Great prices, they don’t slack on portions. I wish we had y’all in Shreveport. lol. Friendly down home staff. I could go on and on! “Absolutely Excellent Customer Service! Our waitress was the nicest young lady! They are very accommodating to people with food allergies! My dinner was incredibly good! Even though my party arrived close to closing, they had no problem whatsoever changing all of their oil, etc once I told them that I had a shellfish allergy. Excellent food! Excellent Service! I cannot recommend this restaurant any higher! The best of the best!”

“I ordered a rotisserie-style chicken "caesar" wrap. As the employee was finishing up on adding the extras onto my sandwich I asked for extra Caesar dressing. The employee told me there was no Caesar dressing.... How does one sell a Caesar wrap without informing the consumer knowing they do not have any Caesar dressing!?! I took a bite of this extremely bland chicken that cost me $6.99 & immediately went back to the employee informing her of the tasteless sandwich I just purchased. Neither employee offered to make me another sandwich nor did they offer to refund my money. I approached them again asking for a substitute dressing. I topped honey mustard to my wrap in hopes of giving it a little more taste. I was unsuccessful. I approached the employees for the last time asking if a manager was working. She was not so I got her name. These 2 employees could care less that I just forked out over $10 for 2 cookies, a 21oz root beer & half a tasteless wrap!”

“We stopped here on the way back to New Orleans from Grand Isle. We were really hungry after a day at the beach, but had to pass some other restaurants on the way because of staff not wearing masks. This place was perfect, though - the tables were far apart from each other and every single staff member was wearing a mask. We could eat here, confident that our food wouldn't come with a side of covid. There were 4 people at our table and everyone's food was delicious. Our server, Joanne, was very attentive, professional and sweet. The 10-year-old at our table commented "10 out of 10 for service". As we were leaving, the retardant was closing and we saw the staff disinfecting the credit card books.”
