I had the Chicken Parm & hubby had the Lasagna. He was very impressed with his meal. It was meaty & cheesy deliciousness!!! The red gravy had a nice homemade taste on the sweet side. Same sauce on my Chicken park. Large servings & yes, we had go boxes. We had very nice side salads to begin our meal. Fresh & cold... Next time we will try their seafood. Will definitely return. Check days & times...not open every day...”

“Stopped in on a trip to Thibodaux to visit family. The wait staff is so friendly. It made us really comfortable being there. The food was delicious. I'm not a fan of those type of fries but they were ok. The fish sandwich was delicious! The atmosphere there is welcoming and warm. The place is clean and inviting. I definitely recommend.”

I got gift certificates when I went to make it more affordable and I enjoyed it the few times I have gone. It just depends on what you are looking for I suppose. “Breakfast at Spahr's in Thibodaux this morning was wonderful. Walking in, I spotted some JT Meleck Distillers hand sanitizer for sale. I ordered a bloody Mary. Wow ! Homeade with a well rounded flavor. The homeade pickled cucumber was a nice touch. Not some store bought mix. The crab cake appetizer was wonderful. A homemade crab ball with a light crust. It was full of pulled crabmeat. The crawfish sauce was light and packed with flavor. My wife got the pain perdu. Homemade, not dry, with a heavy sweet cinnamon flavor. I got the seafood omelet which had the same seafood sauce as the crab cake. It was awesome! I got a side of biscuits and gravy. The gravy had locally sourced sausage which was crumbly and delicious. The gravy was scratch made, on a light and airy butterflied biscuit. Get some.”

She cooks amazing and is the sweetest and kindest woman I've ever been privileged to meet and know. She cooks the best fried chicken, red beans and rice, greens, and the list goes on. “This was such a great experience, Cinclare is in Thibodaux. It is about 65 miles or the same distance to new orleans from Baton Rouge. Cinclare opened in 2016, and this was our first visit. It won't be our last. It is a short get away, and well worth it. We stayed at a local B and B. Cinclare is an upscale dining experience. The decor was pleasant, and inviting. There were plants at the bar to restrict seating, but we were able to get some of the best craft cocktails while we waited. I had a JT Meleck vodka martini. It is a Louisiana made vodka. It is very clean and smooth. I ask for it whenever possible. I had an old fashioned. But the Bienvenu? (Sp) was a fresh strawberry muddled and strained drink which went down real easy. It was probably our favorite. The savory cheesecake was the best savory cheesecake I have eaten in a restaurant. The crust was light and crisp. The cake was decadent, light and airy with notes of smoked gouda. The brussels sprouts were excellent. It was served with holloumi cheese!!! Yes the squeaky Greek cheese that everyone loves. Excellent combination. The scallops were served in a sauce which made me want more. The duck confit with homemade gnocchi was perfectly prepared. Crispy and perfectly seasoned. My wife had the potato flake fish ratatouille. it was very good. The salad was standard fare. We tried 2 deserts. The one to get was the German chocolate cheesecake!! Wow !! Smooth rich and impressive. I recommend this place, and we will be back again for sure.”

Employees could use a little retraining, especially when asking for specific instructions like bringing food out to a vehicle for someone who's masked up and has some respiratory issues when it's paid for to go, plus leaving off certain toppings on some of the plates due to allergies, that sort of thing. For the food, I would recommend any of the pit plates, the pulled pork nachos, and their mac and cheese.”
