Bayou Bistro

Excellent food and service. Our server had a great sense of humor and he put the kids order in first to make sure they got their food first. The seafood dip is awesome and is served with homemade fried tortillas. The gumbo and jambalaya are also fantastic.

This place is the real deal. We had the seafood dip to start. It took a little while to come out and we figured out why. THEY MADE THE TORTILLAS FOR DIPPING while we sat there and it was worth every single second we waited. We were literally scraping and licking the plates when we were done. Next came the poor boys. They were perfect. All the tourists waiting at parkway down the street were wasting their time. If the there’s a line you know you’re eating food from the factory line. If you want fresh, made to order authentic New Orleans seafood this is the place for you.

Discovered this place one day planning on going to Creole Cafe, but the wait time was entirely too long and I was hungry. So we decided to dine at Bayou Bistro. And guys when I tell you it was delicious! It was delicious!! I ordered a cup of gumbo for my appetizer. Omg so good. And shrimp fettuccine for my entree. Wow everything was seasoned to perfection. Really good taste. My server was a little dingy but she was very sweet and made sure my party had everything we needed. I enjoyed eating here so much. And will be back again. Thank you Bayou Bistro.

Very good fried chicken! One of my favorite spots for fried chicken in NOLA. The staff were all extremely nice and I also really liked the BBQ shrimp appetizer.
