Food was delicious. Only had grits and eggs due to only having pork options for breakfast. Conner was great as well. Love the history and atmosphere.

Recommended at our hotel and it was so great! Small place, but great food for a good price. I got the shrimp and grits and they were PHENOMENAL! Wait staff was great and patient with tourists. Would definitely return again. Also--mimosas were great and only $6!

Had the Creole Shrimp and Grits with a pair of mimosas. The grits had a rich savory flavor with well cooked shrimp (and a special nod the tails were already removed). You'll have to add your own spice if you want a decent kick, though.

Mimosas were not watered down and otherwise hard to screw up.

5 stars, but no major wow experience, yet simply good food and no unforced errrors.

Quaint, hole-in-the-wall spot. Simple, delicious breakfast menu. Loved the oil on the avocado toast! Server was friendly and warm. Really glad we popped in here.

I came in here around 10:30 with a pretty savage hangover needing food and coffee stat. They seated me and had coffee in my hand within 30 seconds haha. I wasn’t demanding or anything of course, but that was just the level of service.

I went with my gut and got the Cajun Scramble, and I did not regret my choice. The shrimp and sausage in the eggs was excellent as well as the other little extras were perfect for my taste. And the potatoes were amazingly crispy and delicious! I don’t know how they got them so crispy.

I would definitely pick this place if you need coffee and a hearty meal like I did. Plus, they have an incredible selection of other fancier coffees and dishes that are sure to please even the fanciest of tastes.
