Love this place. Highly recommend everything on their menu! (Kitfo is my favorite!). Super great for take out and just all around a great restaurant. Can not recommend enough

We've been going here for years and we always loved it, until recently, so I echo other people saying that something has changed since 2020. The food quality is inconsistent at best, and the service has been, frankly, atrociously slow and incompetent. Last week it took 25 minutes to get a cup of coffee and that was after waiting 45 minutes for our food. The waitress we had (and who's always there) tries to be nice, but she's just not up to the job. This is a restaurant we used to go almost weekly, but it's too frustrating now, so sadly we have to scratch it off the list. A newish Ethiopian spot opened on Broad St in NOLA, so that's another option.

We loved the food over here. Liked the Non vegetarian dishes more as compared to vegetarian dishes. The angeeras were little bit sour than expected. You have to do parallel parking over the street as the parking space is small. Make sure to Order fish fry. Its delicious.

Great food! First time I’ve tried Ethiopian food. It was different but really flavorful. Service was prompt and polite.

The veggie combo and lamb awaze tibs are so good! I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Ethiopian food or who wants a break from Cajun/Creole food.
