Food here is always good. Have eaten here for years.
Ordered a to go from Ubereats.
Ordered a chicken Kebab plate which came in with chicken pieces, salad, hummus and 3 pita bread (6 pcs). Was a bit disappointed to not see rice part of plate.
The chicken was decent and salad was pretty basic but star was hummus. Nice creamy and tasty. Pita bread was also soft and nice. Overall decent experience.
A good Mediterranean cafe in the middle of a neighborhood. Good portions, tasty food and quick service
Mediterranean cuisine is generally fresh and healthy food—when not fried. It is, also generally bland. That's not good if you're used to super spicey food, but will not burn a hole in your stomach like Indian dishes might. We like that you can see the kitchen and the cooks. That's always a good sign that they have nothing to hide. Now that there's a Costco's nearby, Mona's became conveniently located. We still encourage them to move to another location with easier access, more parking, and more seating space
Mona's on Banks is the Original but it's also the only location with a grocery store so that's impressive, food within 10 minutes, Great vegetarian options, veg plate with 4 different veggie sides, hummus, baba ganuj, tabouli and falafel but I don't do baba so they just substitute for lebna or more of one of the others, try Chkn Tecka, sauteed veggies with melted feta over the veggies they're very nice, outside seating, fast but extremely healthy food, impressive options
