Phenomenal restaurant. Would give it more stars if I could. Pate is the best in NOLA. Mussels are sublime. Order extra bread or fries to soak up the goodness at the bottom of the bowl. Crepe Bourguignon is the best I've tasted in the states. Outstanding service. Just a fantastic dining experience.

My boyfriend and I visited this location while vacationing in New Orleans a few weeks back. The suggestion actually came from my doctor. The location is pretty small but large enough to accommodate a party of 4 easily. The ambiance and decor was very intimate.

We first ordered the mussels that were served with a side of French fries. The fries were so good and complimented the mussels well. I ordered the crab crepe with spinach and mornay with a lobster creme sauce. It was delicious and my boyfriend really liked his salmon as well. The wine and cocktails were good as well.

The service was great. We really liked our waiter. You could definitely tell he was very hard working as he made sure every table in his area was taken care of (and he had many tables).

Overall, if we were to head back to New Orleans, La Crepe Nanou would be on our list.

This is one of my favorite places but I was actually a little disappointed this time. Maybe it was because of my choices. I had a salad with hearts of palm and Florentine crepe and they were okay. The French onion soup was not as I remembered. In my opinion there was way too much cheese and bread with very little soup. My husband said his clams were actually spectacular. His salmon crepe was okay. The restaurant was extremely busy and they were very short staffed that evening. Our waiter was not actually a waiter what was helping out.
I think they were just having an extremely busy short staffed evening. I will definitely go back and give it another try, though

Sunday brunch was wonderful, simple ingredients carefully prepared in substantial portions. The large order of mussels was devine. The crepes are amazing and the Croque Madame is the hit of the whole menu. The food is outstanding the service was less than attentive than your might wish for but you won't care because every dish is so well done. Bloody Marys were everything a brunch cocktail should be, a great compliment to the meal.

Yummy crepes, nice variety of choices. A/C was so high we were literally shivering--bring a sweater! Staff were inattentive but vaguely friendly.
