“The food in this restaurant is amazing! Everything I tried from the gumbo, to the oysters to the sushi was good. The only thing that brings this place down to a 4 star was the service. The hostess that was there on 8/27 around 4:30pm was snotty and not welcoming. When we told her that we would prefer to be seated in a low top table instead of a high top table, she said she couldn’t cause we were a party of 2 and the low tops are for a party of 4. But the high top also was for a party of 4 and it didn’t make any sense especially that there were 3 low top tables available at the moment. When I asked her again, can we be seated in a low top because I really don’t enjoy sitting at high top especially when there’s availability- she said we can sit ourselves there if we want lol. I went twice both times the same hostess gave me the same energy. My first time the waiter was okay, second time the waitress was really nice. So it’s a hit or miss with the service, but both times the food was great.”

“Didn’t think I was a fan of Israeli food until eating here. The pita is next level!! We came with a group of 8 so had to do the feed me menu. We were definitely fed… sooo much food. We were seated by a somewhat private table but the restaurant was not thrilled when we were standing up and chatting at the beginning and end so maybe not a great spot for a large gathering.”

“The owner Brian Stevens is very nice and accommodating and is my favorite when bartending. However, his friendship with the weird guy that wears the fishing shirt is kind of strange. EDIT-Due to confusion I’d like to clarify that I’ve come to find that the strange man in the fishing shirt’s name is Gene. Zeke is very cool”

“I was there yesterday with my girlfriend for lunch. I had the Honey BBQ Chicken sandwich with homemade pickles & vinegar slaw. It was absolutely delicious. I had their French fries which are also very good.”

“This inn is incredible! I’ve stayed in New Orleans more times than I can count, and I will ALWAYS check for availability here first. The location is great! It is super easy to hop on public transport (street car), or you even have a lot of options within walking distance. The food was delicious and really gives you a good taste of New Orleans! The people were hospitable and genuine! Rosa and Monica definitely made sure everything was taken care of. I can’t wait to stay here again!”

“This place is pretty cool. The drinks are "whole" and refreshing (margarita). The bartenders are amazing and the server's are refreshing. Give it a shot. Busy times or not. Seriously great times.”
