    Going what we call, "down da road"!! There aren't many places to eat! On Hwy 23 in Homeplace there is a small local diner called Dads! Excellent food cooked by great cooks! It ain't fancy but it's delicious! Now serving breakfast!

    Food was good, it may just be me, I don’t like to pay someone to take my money, they charge 3% of the bill if you use your card, didn’t know that, will not be back to pay a restaurant to to take my money!!!!!!

    Gave Dads a chance on the way offshore and it didn’t disappoint. Place was clean and service was good. Had a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and the food was excellent. I would definitely stop again.

    Stopped in for a quick bite. Ended up getting the oyster po-boy dressed. Normally I was expecting to feel greasy and feeling heavy in my stomach...NOPE! The oysters were so light feeling and fresh! You could tell its local, fresh seafood! Didn't have all the greasy fryer taste like most places do. I'll be coming back to try the shrimp next!
