“Our first time eating here. I had the Carnitas street tacos w/rice. The tacos were very good but the rice was very under seasoned and tasteless. We had the sopapillas and they were good as well. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant. We are only here in the area for another week so not sure if we will make it back in before we leave but will reccomend to friends”

“The steak is absolutely amazing. The baked potatoe wasn’t all that great though. It was still hard and had no seasoning to it. The ribs were delicious and tender . The onion rings were perfect. But best of all the service was very warm and friendly and happy!! I couldn’t have asked for better service. I was going to say the price was steep but the customer service made up for it !!!”

“This place is one of my favorites here in Morgan City. I really enjoyed the spicy pork po boy, aka banh mi, the vegetables in the sandwich really give it a nice sweet and spicy flavor. Also had the combination rice and the portions are always extremely generous. There’s a good amount of seating inside too! I would recommend to call in your order if you can. I’ll have to come back and try their seafood.”

“During our time in Louisiana, I am determined to try non-national-chain restaurants, and we found a food one! The dining area was welcoming, and we were seated right away. Our drink orders were taken and brought around quickly, and our food orders taken. The food was delivered relatively shortly thereafter, and it was yummy, except that our pancakes were underdone, but it wasn't a deal killer. My boyfriend still ate them. I got the Captain's Plate, and my boyfriend got the Rough Neck, which are basic breakfasts, but you can get different additions to your hash browns! Take advantage of that! And lastly, our server, Priscilla, was fantastic. She was personable, attentive, and we could tell she was smiling under her mask. Try it! It's worth it!”

“Another great find in Morgan City, LA. Had the best Roast Beef poor boy with Debris gravy and sweet potato fries (my favorite). Our girl was great, fast with the order. Well versed in the menu and let me know immediately her favorites. Service here is a winner. All kinds of awesome dinning options. They also have a large very well stocked bar room, perfect for any kind of party. Additionally they have a screened in room for outdoor dinning with plenty of seating. There is a lot of history in this place, much is hanging on the walls. Plenty of parking all around this stand alone building. Extra points for the very clean bathrooms. I’ll be back here to try out all of the other delicious looking choices on the menu.”
