“The food was delicious, we aren't disputing that. But, we won't be back. However, everyone around us was greeted with lovely bowls of soup as they were seated, it wasn't offered to us. We asked for water when we were seated, that finally arrived 15 minutes later. The Hostess seemed to be quite attentive to most everyone, but for whatever reason, seemed to mostly ignore us. We asked for a minor substitution on the Erica bowl, which they granted, but then we were charged 4 dollars more for 4 thin slices of shrimp instead of the tuna. They were quick to take our money, however. Maybe it was just an off night, maybe she didn't like us, we'll never know. We weren't rude, we waited patiently, Bottom line, we flat out did not feel welcome and ultimately felt like our business was unwanted.”

“We really enjoyed Pepe’s, the food and margaritas were very good, the only thing I could say could be improved would be the chips tasted a little stale but could also be because they are house made and not covered/ saturated in salt. Our waitress was great and service was top notch so if it was bad before it has greatly improved but we have no issues what so ever. We will be back for sure! Glad to have this restaurant in downtown Covington.”

“Had a tasty meal at La Luna. A nice variety of tacos from standard chicken to more interesting like BBQ Fried chicken. Tortilla chips are made fresh to order and salsa was made in house. The pozole was a little pricey at $13.95 for a bowl but it was very good. We will be back to explore more of the menu.”

“Drove in from Lafayette on a Saturday for the fried chicken special. It was great to have delicious crispy hot fried chicken!! For me, It was worth the 5 hour round trip for this gluten free eater. The chicken was a special order and needed one hour lead time, so plan accordingly. I wish I lived closer though, I’d be a regular. Next time I will be trying the fried seafood platter. My mouth is already watering.”
