The donuts are delicious. We used to go every Saturday morning but they NEVER had what we wanted. Always out of cream filled, or chocolate or donut holes. Mary Lee's donuts is a mile from there and that's our new place. If they don't have what we want, they make it on the spot!
Today I did a donut run I tried 4 places. First one was a new donut shop in Harahan it was OK then I went to Mary Lee’s donut shop in Covington it was absolutely delicious. The third one I went to was glazed donuts and bakery it’s OK. The fourth one was peace and love in Covington on 21 it was specialty donuts didn’t care for specialty donuts. So Mary Lee’s Donuts is my first choice that’s on the north shore. The South Shore no one can beat Krispy Kreme
Pretty good little donut place. Was hoping for some breakfast items like breakfast burritos, sandwiches etc. The apple fritter was amazing and huge.
Ordered a chocolate donut today. Tasted like a blueberry mix? All the other donuts are usually really good.
Stopped by this afternoon. Think it was their first or second day open. Got a box of mixed donuts and some donut holes. The ones we have tried so far were all very good. I was talking to the very nice and enthusiastic staff and they said they plan to have 30 varieties of donuts, rolls, and turnovers available. The parking lot in this strip mall is still a mess but there is parking in front and on the side. Glad to finally have a good donut shop in this part of Covington. Will be back.
