Made a fishing trip and when we were done, a new friend that was local recommended Slabs. Took him up and so glad we did. The staff was very friendly but the food, it was awesome down to the buns our sandwiches were served on. We had the brisket and smoked sausage sandwiches. The manner the meat was cooked, the flavor and even the way they were constructed was five star. Will be back soon and can't wait to try the beef ribs!! It's worth the trip even if it's a little out of the way.

We had the brisket sandwich and brisket nachos. Super impressed! More than generous portions, very… very good brisket. Clean tables, floor, and spectacularly clean restroom (they got that good smelling soap too 😉).

Delicious food and wonderful staff! The manager, Walter, was so friendly! The lady who brought our food (didn't get her name) was wonderful. My brother took me for my birthday and Walter gave me banana pudding. So good!!!
