“I got an invitation to the friends & family soft opening event a couple of days before their full opening. I was encouraged to get an appetizer, combo meal and a dessert. I got the fried cheese bites which were very good with a marinara sauce (but I'm not sure I would pay $4 for them), I got the boneless wings & things with their original buffalo sauce. I really enjoyed the boneless buffalo wings and french fries. The chicken tenders were good, but buffalo wings were great with ranch dipping sauce... and it seemed like a lot of food for the price. I like that they had the freestyle coke machine and got a cherry coke to wash down my lunch. I also had a brownie which was a good dessert offering... tasted like home made. The staff was still training, but they were very friendly and the service was fast. I had one of the staff ask me if I needed a refill or anything else as she was cleaning the table next to me. I will be back.”

“Hi-Ho is quite literally the best sandwich you can buy. I have been a Hi-Ho addict since I was a small child and my Dad would sit me at the counter telling me stories about when they used to go as kids. The secret sauce is incredible, somewhere between a BBQ sauce and a gravy. The meat is saturated in the sauce, making this sandwich like a delicious sloppy Joe. The meat is sliced not chopped or pulled. They have two kinds, Beef or Pork. You can get your sandwich plain, add cheese, or dressed (mayo, lettuce, and tomato). My perfect sandwich is a pork dressed with cheese. I always top it off with Zapps BBQ chips and a Barqs in a bottle. Don't be shy about the grilled cheese, hamburgers, or sauce buns. They are all fantastic as well. Believe me, after your first Hi-Ho, you will be an addict.”

Out of the three waffle houses including Ponchatoula in this place right next-door to the pilot gas station and the petrol gas station. They are by far the fastest and nicest Waffle House I’ve stepped foot in.”

I had a eggplant po boy and it was AMAZING. Very filling, very cheap. I even tried a bite off my fiance's pizza.... it was pretty tasty! Tasted like fresh mozzarella. 10/10 recommend.”

“The VERY BEST pizza in the Hammond area! We love pizza and have tried most of the ones in Hammond....BUT nothing comes close to NOLA PIZZA. Fresh, great crust, wonderful personal service. After eating there several times, we made it our regular once a week (sometimes more) dinner. They are more than just pizza too! There are sandwiches like pulled pork, which my son in law loves. There are also specials on Tuesdays for pizza and Wednesday night wings! You just can't go wrong.”
