“We stopped for Starbucks and saw they were open and since we were looking for somewhere to eat, we decided to try them. Immediately greeted walking thru door. Asked how we were and what we would like. Not sure, need to see. The gentleman behind the counter suggested a sample of what they had and brought us a plate of all jambalayas and the pastalaya and small cup of gumbo. Everything was great and wasn't too spicy for me to eat. Because everything has cayenne pepper in it down there making it hard for me to enjoy any food while down there. When back in Plaquemine, it will definitely be where we'll be eating. Maybe some day Texas will get one.”

Crispy and fried to perfection!, fries tasted good like fresh cut, a little over done but I like my fries that way(little crunchy on the edges!lol) rice dressing was on point! Good balance in flavor ratio of liver and gizzards (maybe grind them gizzards up a little smaller, but I'm not complaining 👌🏾) Ms. Rose 🌹 did that! Worth the stop! If I say anything criticizing, I'd say I should have gotten at least a small drink with the price I paid. But other than that, I'll be stopping by again on my next cheat day 👌🏾👍🏾!!!”

I had 2 deer processed into some of the best sausage (I got 5 different kinds), breakfast burritos, summer sausage and bacon wrapped & stuffed backstrap! “Wings were too soft the first 2 times my family tried them. We each had different flavors and had to come home and put them all in the oven to bake more and harden. I was determined to like this place since it’s so close to home so I went a third time and begged the young lady at the window to please please tell them to fry extra crispy. Well I guess the third time was the charm because they were fried perfectly. Hopefully this is a permanent fix and they have worked out the kinks of not frying the wings right. At a wing place you shouldn’t have to ask for extra crispy to get decent wings.”

“I was a little worried to come here because this isn't a corporate truck stop. But unlike the big name truck stops this place wasn't crowded with trucks bouncing into each other. It seemed like everyone liked their jobs that worked there too. Food at the restaurant was so good and the service made me hate the west coast even more. Seriously, anyone in any form of customer service needs to go to the south and learn how customers should be treated. I stayed the night and grabbed a shower. They are $8 and basic, nothing fancy. They also have free laundry facilities which was very appreciated. I wish I'd found this place 10 years ago. Will return whenever I can.”

“Jambalaya Stop has top shelf jambalaya and pastalaya. Ate here about 6 times now. Food is always hot, reasonably priced, quick service, LARGE portions and consistently good food. What more could you ask for? Only 4 stars because the gumbo was not good at all 👎 and I didn’t care for the cole slaw either. But hey, can’t bat a thousand. 🤷♂️ Will def return for more. 👍👍”

“Fast and friendly service! It was really clean in here compared to other locations I’ve been to. The environment is study friendly with all the small tables and nice furniture. I mostly come here to get some work done and it’s usually never too noisy since I come in the evenings. I had to wait a while for someone to take my order but that’s probably because they wanted to encourage me to use the kiosk.”

“Great looking staff, with a variety of beautiful entertainers! Everyone is so engaging and friendly. Crazy Horse throws themed parties every couple of months that are a lot of fun. It's one of my favorite places to get a bite to eat as well. I love their burgers and fries! I highly recommend this place for great entertainment and great food! Crazy Horse even won an award recently for best gentlemen's club in the US! Go check them out.”

“Great food, and friendly folks my family and I ate there following our Son's baptism and the moment we walked into the building I could immediately notice the difference. It smelled like chicken and tacos, exactly the way it should unlike the other KFC and Taco Bells that we have ate at. And talk about fast service they are truly #1 in our opinion. The young lady who was working the front counter was very well groom. She wore her hair up in a afro puff. Mr Mike kept the orders moving really fast. They worked very well together as a team.
