“I love it. They have great fresh organic produce and the prices are low and affordable. They also have freshly cut seafood, tilapia fish, beef and beef products and chicken. They also have already marinated chicken so all you have to do is buy it and take it home to cook in whatever way you want. There is a section for cooked meals and rotisserie chicken and beef. The rotisserie chicken is delicious. Overall, it is a Latino market but boy I keep going back for more.”

“Went to District today and tried the fried chicken sandwich. Chicken was fried perfectly, not over cooked. The bun was fresh and it was topped with just enough slaw to drip on your fingers but not need utensils. Best chicken sandwich ever. I love this neighborhood location. “This is hands down the best biscuit/ breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. And I’m not a vegan. It’s been almost a year my boyfriend and I went and we still talk about how good it is almost every week. I cannot describe how good they are with my limited vocabulary so you’ll just have to go try for yourself. I highly recommend the pumpkin biscuit sandwich and any of the brioche. You won’t regret it”

“If anyone knows me they know I love this sandwich shop. It reminds me of growing up when I would go to my favorite neighborhood sandwich shops around the New Orleans area. The Surf-N-Turf should be illegal it's so good. Also the shrimp poboy and roast beef are just as great as stand alone sandwiches. Every time I come back home this is the second place I go after I drop off my luggage :D. I hope they will be around for the next 300 years at least.”

“La Boulangerie is a gorgeous french care and bakery with beautiful scratch made dishes. The service was great, the prices are great, the location is clean and there is an array of beautiful pastries and breads. I ordered a fruit tart, but it lacked an immense amount of sweetness. My friend ordered a croissant and was very pleased. I will return and do recommend others visit as well.”

“Can’t recommend this place enough. The brioches, breakfast sandwiches, hot sandwiches and the bread are all top notch. My personal favorites: Breakfast sandwich - pumpkin cheddar Brioche - maple cinnamon pecan and Boston cream Hot Sandwich - Big Daddy w/ house burger It’s king cake season and most of the king cakes I’ve tried around the city can’t compare to Breads on Oak’s. If you want a variety of king cake guaranteed to be delicious this is the place to go.”

“As an avid Dunkin fan I stopped at this dunkin Express thing I could just pull in and get an ice coffee and then be on my way when I realize it was nothing like that. Lol. You literally could go in and fix your own. However you want. It gave you instructions on the machines and you just made it to your liking. It was interesting. Lol”
