“Just discovered this place was down the street from me. I got the garlic chicken entree for takeout. The guy was easy and polite on the phone. Time estimate was spot on. When I came, the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and I completed my transaction quickly. The food was VERY good! I asked for lots of heat and I got it. The vegetables were perfectly crispy and the juice was delectable. This is my new takeout spot!”

As a life long Mainer...I consider myself somewhat steeped in seafood gastronomy. If your child is picky this may be a pass, but as far as ribs, brisket, and pulled pork, this has a fairly reasonable price point for the serving size, and quality of food you get. I'll definitely go again, but I will go when there aren't so many kids screaming. It was incredibly loud. My 6 y/o was looking at the kids on awe. He knows he can't act like that.”

“I went once while on vacation in Portland, but my experience on a Thursday morning was great. The menu has a good range of options and the food was delicious (including probably the best home fries I've ever had). Great service and a good selection of local beer and cider if you're into that. The only issue I could see is that the place is small, so I'm sure during busy times, it might be a long wait and difficult to find parking. If I'm in the area again, though, I'll definitely try to go back.”

“Been going to Po boys for the better part of a year now. Always very friendly people that remember your face. If you want a sandwich that’s going to blow you away this is the place to be. Highly suggest the fried pickles, cheese burger, and their cookies are a must have. I’ve seen people order a cookie then come back an hour later and order 12 more lol. My 2 notes for eating here would be that there sandwiches are massive. If your not a big eater probably order a half. Seating can also be limited at busy hours but the outside seating is always a fun option in good weather. Definitely a place to check out for lunch.”

“We made this trip fr N.Y.C. just to try Maine seafood! The fried fish tastes good. I tasted my daughter's scallop...welll, don't go there. The fried shrimp were like frozen already cooked shrimp you would use for a quick shrimp salad. I liked the fact it was lightly breaded. The lobster roll is tasty. The "potato salad" was so lacking. I think I expected better seafood from Portland, but the trip was enjoyable.”

“Linda Bean's Lobster Cafe at the Portland Jetport is a great place to eat while waiting for a flight. This is one of the best meals I have ever had at an airport. While not the best lobster or lobster rolls in Maine they are still very good and better than all of the other food offerings at the airport. This location is very convenient and easy to get in and out quickly so you can get your order and enjoy it with plenty of time not to miss your flight. I enjoyed my meal and had a smile on my face when I left it.”
